Chief Development Officer
The Ottawa Humane Society has been a leader in animal welfare since 1888. We’re currently looking for passionate and results oriented Full Time Chief Development Officer to lead our team in building a caring community and fostering support for Ottawa’s homeless animals. WHAT WE OFFER YOU:
Salary:$111,000 to $134,000

Schedule:
- 75 hours bi-weekly
- May be required to work occasional evening, holiday and weekend shifts
What you bring to the table:
- Post-secondary school diploma or certificate in a related field
- CFRE designation is an asset
- 10 years of fundraising, development or advancement experience
- Demonstrated excellent leadership and teamwork abilities
- Demonstrated excellent customer service, crisis management and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience with Raiser’s Edge database or similar CRM database is essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Specialized professional proficiency in spoken and written English is required
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
