The Ottawa Humane Society has been a leader in animal welfare since 1888. We’re currently looking for passionate and results oriented Full Time Chief Development Officer to lead our team in building a caring community and fostering support for Ottawa’s homeless animals. Salary:$111,000 to $134,000

  • 75 hours bi-weekly
  • May be required to work occasional evening, holiday and weekend shifts

What you bring to the table:

  • Post-secondary school diploma or certificate in a related field
  • CFRE designation is an asset
  • 10 years of fundraising, development or advancement experience
  • Demonstrated excellent leadership and teamwork abilities
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service, crisis management and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience with Raiser’s Edge database or similar CRM database is essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Specialized professional proficiency in spoken and written English is required
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
