The Ottawa Humane Society is a shelter for animals in need, but also works in areas including community outreach and services, education, and advocacy for animal welfare in the Ottawa region and beyond.
WHAT WE OFFER YOU:
Salary: $21.73 to $24.50 hourly
Schedule:
This is a part-time role with 12.5-16.5 hours a week; September to June schedule includes Saturdays (9am to 6pm) and 1-2 weeknights (4:00pm – 8:00pm) a week. July and August schedule may offer alternative daytime shifts to support summer camp programming.
This role is primarily involved with the OHS’s children and youth programs.

What you bring to the table:
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three months’ experience working with children and youth
- Current Standard First Aid CPR-C and AED Certification is required
- Professional working proficiency in spoken and written English is required
- Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
