Talent Pool — Assistant Veterinary Technician

Join the Ottawa Humane Society's Animal Care talent pool!

The Ottawa Humane Society is a non-profit, community-based organization and a registered charity. Since 1888, we have been the leading organization providing a safe haven for sick, injured and homeless animals in Ottawa.

We’re looking to build a talent pool of qualified, interested candidates for our current and future job opportunities, including full-time, part-time, casual, and temporary contract positions. If you are looking to start or continue your career in animal care, shelter medicine, or non-profit work, the OHS might be the right fit for you!

Applications will be kept in our talent pool for various upcoming opportunities with the Ottawa Humane Society on an ongoing basis. Requirements for each opportunity will vary based on the role’s specific needs, and shortlisted candidates will be contacted only for the roles for which they’re being considered. As we are a unionized organization, all union job opportunities will be posted internally first before being publicly advertised in accordance with our Collective Agreement.

Please note that this talent pool is for the Assistant Veterinary Technician position only. Applications will be considered based on the required duties, qualifications, and working conditions of this position. Candidates who have applied to the talent pool are still welcome to apply to posted opportunities.
