It’s Going To Be a Great Year!
On February 16, the Chinese lunar calendar enters the eleventh sign and we pass into the year of the dog! What a great year to be entering, because, of course, dogs are symbols of loyalty and honesty.
I am told that people born in the year of the dog show the very best traits of human nature. Like dogs, they are honest, friendly, faithful, loyal, smart, and straightforward. (We could use a bit more of these traits in the world, don’t you think?)
The Chinese regard the dog as an auspicious animal; should a dog happen to enter a home, it symbolizes the coming of fortune. (I couldn’t agree more!)
So, happy year of the dog! Over the coming lunar year, watch for tips and information, enhanced programs and our general celebration of all things dog — truly our best friend.
