Kisses's Profile
Hi, I’m Kisses!
I am a “Foster-Me-First” adoption while I await my neuter surgery. You can find more information about the Foster-Me-First Program at https://ottawahumane.ca/adopt/adoption-faq/#answer14 or call to speak to the adoption team.
POSSIBLE RABBIT SYPHILLIS âThis rabbit was part of a group of rabbits where one individual had lesions around the genital area that were suspicious for Treponema paraluiscuniculi. This individual rabbit was not exhibiting symptoms while at the OHS. This Treponema species is specific to rabbits and is not contagious to other species or to humans. This rabbit was treated for suspected Treponema with antibiotics while at the OHS. At this time, we do not expect long term complications from this infection, as treatment is considered to be effective, however you should be aware of this rabbit`s history.
I am currently relaxing in a foster home as I wait for my forever family. Please contact an adoptions staff to book an appointment to meet me!
If you are interested in setting up an appointment to adopt me, please complete an adoption application at https://ottawahumane.ca/adopt/adoption-application/. Please be advised that although we do offer on-the-spot-adoptions, this is dependent on appointment schedules and cannot be guaranteed.
