The staff at the OHS call me a Socialite. Did you know that a Socialite’s absolute favourite thing is hanging out with their people? They love being at the centre of attention and are excited to meet almost anyone. Socialites enjoy activities like joining in on family outings and going for leisurely walks, playing games like tug and fetch, and participating in training games! And while they might enjoy the occasional run or hike, they are usually content to stick around the neighbourhood. Most Socialites enjoy finishing off a day by settling down with a chew toy or puzzle feeder while you relax for the evening. So, if you like the company of a dog that will adore you and want to be involved in all of your activities, you’ll have lots of fun with a Socialite!

I’m a food-loving, energetic pup who just mastered the art of shaking a paw – I can’t get enough of those tasty treats! While I haven’t had much formal training yet, I’m eager to learn and improve. I’ve got a strong desire to please and am ready for someone patient and kind to teach me the ropes. With your guidance and a pocketful of treats, I know I’ll blossom into a well-behaved and loving companion. Let’s embark on this training journey together!

Please be advised that although we do offer on-the-spot adoptions, this is dependent on appointment schedules and cannot be guaranteed.

Leash
A collar, leash and other pet supply needs can be purchased at the time of adoption as the OHS has an excellent selection of these items. All proceeds from your purchases from the OHS Buddy & Belle Boutique support the animals at the OHS.
