Programs Have Returned! |
As things slowly return to normal, we’re happy to share we have been rolling out programs and services that were impossible to deliver during the public health crisis. Our camps for children, private and group dog training classes, microchip clinics and Mobile Spay/Neuter Services have now officially returned.
Visit ottawahumane.ca/reopen for more updates as we reopen.

Staying Safe @ the OHS |
As the province relaxes safety protocols for COVID-19, we have also made some changes at the OHS. Our goal is to keep everyone safe and comfortable, while gradually loosening restrictions under the new guidelines.
Volunteers will no longer be required to screen for COVID-19 symptoms before their shift. With a few exceptions, masking is no longer required on-site — volunteers are only required to be masked if they are client-facing or work in animal care areas. Volunteers who are more comfortable wearing a mask are welcome to do so, and masks will still be available in the volunteer lounge. Please contact Kestrel if you have any questions about the OHS’s updated COVID protocols.
