Keren Rabin is one of our incredible small animal enrichment volunteers. Just like cats and dogs, small animals need play and social time to live their best lives. Keren makes sure that small animals at the OHS get the mental and physical stimulation they need. Keeping our smallest friends well socialized also helps to make animals more adoptable and increases the likelihood of a successful adoption!

While we aren't currently looking for on-site small animal volunteers, we have been inundated with small animals and as a result are always looking for small animal enrichment volunteers! 

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in World Spay Day on Feb. 28! 

Thanks to you, 40 animals (34 cats, 3 dogs and 3 rabbits) were able to receive this essential surgery. You helped reduce pet overpopulation in Ottawa and set up homeless animals for a lifetime of good health.

Animals like Xiaobao and Dabao are grateful for your support.  Xiaobao and Dabao came to the OHS very fearful and shy.
