A Peek Behind the Curtain: Rabbit Week’s Secret to Success
Adorned in a fluffy white coat, holding a clipboard and a piece of lettuce, the young entrepreneur looks out over the sun-soaked adoption centre with a keen eye.
At just three years old, Frankie M. Rabbit is the youngest project manager at the OHS, responsible for bringing the signature “Rabbit Week” event to life.
Frankie joined the team over a year ago, after difficult life circumstances left him roaming the streets. Thankfully, a kind person got him the help he needed at the OHS.
That’s when he first experienced the magic of Rabbit Week. He’d seen Shark Week in the past, but something about this event sparked his interest in a way that sharks never did. Could it be because he’s a rabbit? Possibly.
After a year of working his way up at the OHS, he’s now running the show.
He planned, organized, nibbled on cardboard, and managed to negotiate an unbeatable deal for rabbit adopters: 20% off the rabbit adoption fee, free hay and a gift card for fresh lettuce donated by Farm Boy. He single-handedly created a special-edition webinar to teach bunny owners how to best care for rabbits like him. He even designed a killer tote bag and a sticker for the occasion. He thought of it all.
The one thing he forgot to focus on? Finding a home for himself.
During our conversation with Frankie, it quickly became apparent that he’s a hare above the rest. He’s a tidy roommate who always uses the litter box. He’s social and outgoing, gets along well with cats, and is great with kids. He’s a lover of fine literature and a connoisseur of lettuce. Any family would be lucky to have him.
Will you step up to help the rabbit who worked so hard to help everyone else? Take advantage of his Rabbit Week promotion and bring Frankie home.
This is Frankie’s second Rabbit Week at the OHS. We hope it will be his last, and that when Rabbit Week hops around next year, Frankie will be following along, clipboard at the ready, from his forever home.
