Max's Profile
Hi, I’m Max!
The staff at the OHS call me a Happy Homebody! Did you know that Happy Homebodies are friendly, laid back, happy to go with the flow, and only need a small amount of exercise each day to stay happy and healthy? That means you’ll need to help them watch their figure! Only low-cal and healthful treats for a Happy Homebody. These happy-go-lucky pups, with their chill attitude and calm demeanor, are a fantastic addition to most families. And while they may be content to listen to the couch calling their name, Happy Homebodies still need and enjoy a daily neighbourhood stroll and fresh air. Other fun ways to help them maintain their figure include work-to-eat games like food puzzles, training games, and searching out hidden treats! If you’re looking for a reliable and chill family companion, a Happy Homebody is your dog!
I am overweight, and I will need a veterinarian to oversee my weight loss plan to make sure I lose weight safely. I need a prescription veterinary diet and regular veterinarian visits to follow my progress.
I have some dental tartar on my teeth, and some associated gum inflammation. I will likely require a thorough oral health assessment and dental cleaning under general anesthesia within the next year.
I have oral health care needs; please contact an Adoption staff member to inquire about me Max A253561.
If you are interested in setting up an appointment to adopt me, please email a completed adopter profile found at https://ottawahumane.ca/adopt/ to adoptions@ottawahumane.ca. Please be advised that although we do offer on-the-spot adoptions, this is dependent on appointment schedules and cannot be guaranteed.
