Harley's Profile

Hi, I’m Harley!

The staff at the OHS call me a Happy Homebody! Did you know that Happy Homebodies are friendly, laid back, happy to go with the flow, and only need a small amount of exercise each day to stay happy and healthy? That means you’ll need to help them watch their figure! Only low-cal and healthful treats for a Happy Homebody. These happy-go-lucky pups, with their chill attitude and calm demeanor, are a fantastic addition to most families. And while they may be content to listen to the couch calling their name, Happy Homebodies still need and enjoy a daily neighbourhood stroll and fresh air. Other fun ways to help them maintain their figure include work-to-eat games like food puzzles, training games, and searching out hidden treats! If you’re looking for a reliable and chill family companion, a Happy Homebody is your dog!

I had injury to both knees which were treated surgically. As a result of these injuries I may be more likely to develop arthritis in these joints in the future. I recovered in a foster home after my surgery but would still benefit from ongoing, veterinary supervised physiotherapy, and gradual increases in activity over one to two months in my new home.

I have medical needs; please contact an Adoption staff member to inquire about me Harley A241112.

I am currently relaxing in a foster home as I wait for my forever family. Please contact an adoptions staff to book an appointment to meet me!

If you are interested in adopting me, please email a completed adopter profile found at https://ottawahumane.ca/adopt/ to adoptions@ottawahumane.ca
